Navigate the shallows, and if you encounter a submerged object, you can jack up your motor and idle over allowing your motor to Kick-Back and prevent costly damage to the lower unit. The plate features Delrin rollers and bearings for smooth operation, motor tether attachment points for safety, locking pins to prevent unwanted kickout during reverse and trailering, and convenient, greaseable pivot points. 30 degrees tilt up.
