Parallax Power Supply Automatic Load Shed Device, 20 Amp • ALS20

The Parallax Power Supply ALS20 is an automatic load shed device that helps electrical systems safely operate more items from a limited number of circuit breakers. It allows the operation of (2) 20 amp loads from a single branch circuit. A typical RV installation, has a shedable load, such as an electric water heater, connected to the shed circuit and a priority load circuit that is generally used to power appliances. The device on the shed circuit can be delayed temporarily via the ALS20 to allow an "on demand" appliance to be operated when needed. More than (1) ALS20 can be installed for additional branch circuits.
