The shank features rounded edges for easier insertion into the receiver tube, and it has a 5\/8\" diameter hole to accept a hitch pin or hitch lock for secure mounting in the receiver.  This particular weight distribution shank is 7-1\/2\" high by 8\" long overall. Each hole in the vertical shank has a 3\/4\" diameter, and they are spaced 1-1\/4\" apart for a wide range of incremental adjustment of the WD head. With an overall height of 7-1\/2\", this WD shank provides a maximum rise of 7-1\/8\".
